For the past 6 years, our Employment Education Center has been providing practical support and unconditional love to thousands exploited by the sex industry. The capacity of our current center has been maxed out for some time now and recent sky-rocketing unemployment has only increased the vulnerable population's need for services. We need to expand. It's time to take hope to a new level!
This new facility will allow us to reach 4x the number of students with empowerment resources. The next steps are to remodel the space and to equip it to meet the unique needs of classroom, business, residential, and community programs. Explore details of each of the new center's rooms and pick a special area that you'd like to sponsor. Together, we can unlock the doors to hope!
Make Happy Hour mean something greater
Hosting a casual party is a great, non-intimidating way to share with your friends, family, or co-workers your passion to stand up against exploitation. With respect to health during this season of COVID, these Empower Freedom parties are totally Zoom friendly, which also allows Not Abandoned staff to jump in as guests to present information about the cause and answer any questions. You supply the people and cheer and we’ll help support you with invitations, ideas, videos, speakers, etc. By setting a fundraising goal for these parties you’ll also be ensuring that your passions and the excitement of your friends extends beyond that one-time gathering. Make your contribution go further
Many companies such as Costco, Microsoft, Boeing, Amazon, Starbucks, and Expedia offer a 100% or partial match to your donations to Not Abandoned. Some companies even offer financial donations to Not Abandoned to accompany each hour you volunteer with us (we’re looking at you Microsoft, thank you!) Ask your current workplace if they have a matching program or if they would be willing to begin one to help your donations go further. We’ll be happy to supply all the necessary supporting documents of our 501(c)3 status to your employer, as well as answer any additional questions you may have.
Think big picture, donate your investments
Make a bigger impact by donating long-term appreciated securities, including stock, bonds, and mutual funds, directly to Not Abandoned. Compared with donating cash or selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, you may be able to automatically increase your gift and your tax deduction.
