This generous matching donation is in response to the harsh global reality of human trafficking. It is because women and youth today are recruited into a life of slavery and exploitation where the vulnerable are robbed of freedom and forced and trapped into a life of cruelty.  Not Abandoned is driven by the fact that women and youth today are captive to a life of tyranny. This challenge match from a private donor will begin December 1, 2021, in honor of Giving Tuesday, a globally recognized day of generosity and community impact. Thanks to the outstanding support of additional donors, we are beginning this month-long challenge with the first $90,000 (36%) already committed, and December 31^st as our final deadline.

Where Your Support is Going

Not Abandoned is raising funds to empower women who have been exploited as well as to prevent others from being exploited. We provide tools, resources, support, and care for a woman to regain and maintain freedom through our Freedom Centers in Thailand and Spain. We hold the deep conviction that no matter how messy, complex, and slow her recovery process is, she can and will come to know she is not abandoned. Not Abandoned endeavors to help empower the most vulnerable through steady support, trauma-informed care, and practical training opportunities they can live a life of physical, emotional freedom and purpose.
