The COVID-19 pandemic has not only brought a great health threat to the shores of Thailand, but it' even more widespread damage has been on this country's economics. One of the hardest hit cities, Pattaya, is one that was already riddled with vulnerability.
Thousands of women already exploited by the city's sex industry have now been left in an even more desperate situation. They are hungry, stranded, jobless, and even homeless. To help combat this drastic rise in suffering, we've been distributing care packs of emergency necessities like food that will help each woman sustain for weeks at a time.
But this Valentine's Day, we want to take her from surviving to thriving and add in extra love to those care packages. Our team has put some beautiful effort into creating an extra-special pack full of beauty products, the most delicious smelling body wash, the good kind of sanitary pads that are actually comfortable, face masks, eye cream and more.
By February 5th,
our goal is to raise $8,000
to distribute 400 care packs.
The women we serve in exploited communities deserve to be lavished in love, especially now, and especially this Valentine's Day.
Join us to give her tangible hope during this especially challenging season.
